Introduction to Stained Glass
This class is 3 times a week for two consecutive weeks.  It is required of all members when they join the club. 
This class orients the students on studio and safety procedures, member
responsibilities, and use and location of equipment and tools.  It provides hands on introduction to mosaic, fusing, and foiling projects.  Focus is on the proper cutting techniques, use of glass tools and soldering pieces.  Students will complete 3 different projects.
$100 includes class instruction, dues, Club handbook and name badge.

Basic Mosaic
Students will learn how to create a mosaic stone or platter.
This will involve applying a design on the chosen surface using opaque glass and grout.
3 sessions $32.00
 
Beginning Lead Panel
Introductory class to lead came making and small panel
This is the suggested class prior to a Windows Workshop.
Participants learn the basic skills necessary to create a leaded stained glass panel or "small window".  This includes cutting zinc frames, cutting and grinding glass pieces, using came, soldering came, finishing with putty, and cleaning and polishing the panel.
3 sessions $35.00

Beginning Fusing (fusing principles)
This is a mandatory class before taking Intermediate Fusing or Jewelry.
Students will learn the effect that heat and time have on glass in a kiln, the importance of glass compatibility and basic design principles.  Students will complete two projects.
3 sessions $38.00

Intermediate Fusing
Prerequisite: Beginning Fusing
Students will advance their skills by creating two individual designs with guidance from the instructor.
3 sessions $38.00

Fused Jewelry Workshop
Prerequisite: Beginning Fusing
Students will create wearable art using Dichroic glass and other fusing glass.
2 sessions $35.00

Windows Workshop
Advanced level project requiring additional studio work time
Students will learn to design and construct a Stained glass window.  This includes cutting the zinc frame, cutting, grinding, and fitting glass, and using lead foil or came to finish the project.  There will be a focus on cutting came, soldering, finishing the window with putty, and polishing the completed project.
4 sessions $40.00

Panel Lamp
Intermediate level class
Hands on instruction in creating a four or six panel lamp shade with a consistent pattern and sturdy construction.  There will be discussion on determining the proper size for a lamp base, a vase cap or spider, and the best type of class for lamp shades.
4 sessions $40.00

3 Sided Candle Holder
Intermediate level class
Students will construct a three-sided candleholder using cutting and soldering techniques.
3 sessions $35.00

Mosaic Pictures
Advanced level class
Students will create an original mosaic picture using glass with grout on a flagstone.
4 sessions $35.00

Dreamcatcher/End of Trail
Advanced level class requiring additional studio time
In this class you will make one project, a dreamcatcher or an end of the trail figure, and construct it with help to your specifications.
5 sessions $45.00
 
Chef
Advanced level class-requiring additional studio work time
Pattern and instructions are supplied
In this class you will make a project to your specifications
Students will create a restaurant scene that includes: a chef, reader (menu) board, table, and mosaic floor.  All the various disciplines of the glass process will be used in this project.
